Cass Lake Village Council
Village Council · Cass Lake Village, Oakland County
Governing council for Cass Lake Village, Oakland County's first new municipality since 1995 and its first new village in more than 60 years. The roughly 600-resident, canal-laced community is bounded by Rosedale Drive, the Clinton River, and Cass Lake, and was a homeowners-association-run neighborhood until state lawmakers authorized its incorporation in 2025 under the temporary name 'The Village of Lakeside Park.' Voters adopted a permanent charter and elected the village's first council in the August 2026 primary (203-29, about 88% in favor).
